SITA and Envision Digital International, an AIoT technology supplier, have teamed to produce net-zero carbon solutions for airports throughout the world.
According to an agreement (MoU), the parties have agreed to work together.
These two firms have agreed to work together to create a carbon reduction system that will allow airports to track and manage their carbon emissions in real-time.
Energy silos can be harmonized, and operational efficiency can be improved. These are all claimed benefits of the approach.
This alliance combining our AIoT leadership with SITA’s technological skills will deliver the end-to-end carbon aviation solution needed by the industry to meet their target,” said Envision Digital Global executive director Michael Ding.
Together, SITA’s expertise in air transport technology and Envision Digital’s competence in digitalization, data management, and artificial intelligence will be combined (AI).
SITA’s goal is to help the aviation industry reduce its carbon footprint by enhancing operational efficiency, which is in accordance with this objective.
ACI reports that 235 European airports have committed to net-zero carbon emissions by 2050. Over 90 airports have committed to net-zero carbon emissions by 2030, according to SITA Europe president Sergio Colella.
