At Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport in Subang, Malaysia, ExecuJet MRO Services Malaysia, a Dassault Aviation-owned firm, is establishing a purpose-built MRO facility.
Subang Airport’s operator, Malaysia Airport Holdings Berhad, has inked a land lease agreement with ExecuJet for the development of the facility. The new MRO facility is expected to be completed in 18 to 24 months.
144,000 square feet is the gross floor area of this newly constructed MRO complex, which includes back shops that further increase ExecuJet’s capabilities, as well as customer rooms and offices.
ExecuJet, Malaysia’s largest business aviation MRO, is currently located in a different sector of the airport.
As a result, it is approved by the US FAA, European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), as well as a number of other international aviation authorities.
MRO Services regional VP in Asia Ivan Lim said that the new purpose-built MRO facility allows ExecuJet to grow and satisfy the growing demand of its customers from Malaysia and across the Asia area.
As a result, “Malaysia’s standing as a leading centre for business aviation and general aviation in the Asia area is further reinforced by our strong presence at Subang.”
