On December 1, 2021, Oman Air, the national airline of the Sultanate of Oman, will resume direct service between Muscat and Zurich. Oman Air’s 10th anniversary of flying to Zurich (ZRH) from Muscat coincides with the route resumption (MCT). The route was temporarily halted when the unprecedented pandemic and subsequent downturn in global aviation and travel took hold. On the other hand, Oman Air is pleased to welcome its valued customers back on board because of the strong demand for the route and the reassurance of its 5-Star COVID-19 Airline Safety Rating from Skytrax.

Several Zurich Airport officials, including Oman Air Country Manager for Switzerland Lina Samman, spoke to passengers, local media, and airline partners prior to takeoff on the flight from Zurich to Muscat. Zurich-Muscat service resumes this evening, but it also marks ten years of exceptional service, connecting travellers to Oman’s natural beauty, cultural richness, and genuine kindness and openness.
