The APEX/IFSA Awards have recognised Qatar Airways (QA) as a ‘World Class’ airline and a ‘2022 Five Star Global Airline’. APEX Passenger Choice Awards for Best Food and Beverage and Best Seat Comfort have also been given to it.
As a result of the pandemic, the airline has been praised for its innovation and unwavering dedication to providing the best possible passenger experience.
At the 2021 APEX/IFSA EXPO, the ‘World Class’ rating was announced as a new “North Star” for airlines, created in collaboration with aviation guest experience consultancy Yates and Partners to recognise excellence across a range of different metrics.
From safety, well-being, and sustainability to superior service, brand integrity, and space and comfort to customer recognition and the relevance of cuisine, these metrics focus on the issues that twenty-first-century travellers are most concerned about.
