In-flight humidification is provided to CTT Systems. VIP system order

by Mahua Special Editor

Inflight Humidification (IFH) VIP system order from AMAC Aerospace for a Boeing BBJMAX8 aircraft has been announced by CTT SYSTEMS AB, the industry leader in aviation humidity management systems. With the help of three humidifiers, the IFH VIP system may raise the cabin’s overall humidity. CTT’s Anti-Fuselage-Condensation technology will be used to protect the BBJMAX8 aircraft against moisture. The system will be delivered to AMAC in the second quarter of 2022. There is an order value of 4 million Swedish kronor (SEK). This is CTT Systems’ 97th award for VIP aircraft inflight humidification (from Airbus ACJ and Boeing BBJ)

According to CTT Systems Vice President of Sales and Marketing Peter Landquist, “We are thrilled to partner with AMAC Aerospace in putting in our IFH system in another BBJMAX VIP completion.

Regarding VIP and large-cabin business jet humidification

It is significantly more dehydrating to fly in a VIP aircraft or a large cabin business jet without an effective humidification system – below 5% Relative Humidity (RH). Restored to a degree of comfort and well-being, this Boeing BBJMAX8 will have a 20 percent rise in RH. Reduced dry air associated issues (read: weariness, jet lag, red eyes, dry throat and dry skin) and enhanced health and overall sleep would benefit VIP guests on long-haul flights. Using evaporative cooling, the CTT humidifier prevents the spread of microorganisms. Condensation is completely prevented by the CTT IFH VIP technology.
